Luxe Homecare is honored to announce that we have recently received a prestigious award from the office of Supervisor Lindsey Horvath and the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors. This recognition, which celebrates our unwavering commitment and exceptional service throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, was presented during the inaugural Small Business Recognition Breakfast held at King Gillette Ranch in Calabasas on July 12.
“This week, we honored incredible local businesses throughout our West Valley and Santa Monica Mountain communities,” Supervisor Horvath stated following the event. Luxe Homecare was among several small businesses from Malibu and Pacific Palisades acknowledged for their dedication and contributions during these challenging times.
The Malibu Pacific Palisades Chamber of Commerce expressed their gratitude, stating, “These community heroes selflessly gave back, even while facing their own struggles during the pandemic. A heartfelt thank you to Supervisor Horvath, Field Deputy Sophia Soudani, and the entire team for this special event. It’s a reminder of the incredible kindness that emerged during challenging times.”
Helmed by Fay Vahdani and Ben Adel, Luxe Homecare provides an array of services geared toward aging adults in the Palisades and surrounding communities, helping them to “live with dignity and comfort at home.” Our services include personalized in-home care, health services, and more. Vahdani, an active board member of the Chamber, shared her heartfelt appreciation for the recognition.
“I am honored to share that our company has been recognized with an award for our service to the Pacific Palisades and Malibu community during the COVID-19 pandemic,” Vahdani said. “This award is not just a personal accolade but a testament to the dedication of our entire team.”
She emphasized that the recognition belongs to every member of the Luxe Homecare team, including nurses, caregivers, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and the management team. “Their selfless dedication, compassion, and resilience have been the cornerstone of our efforts,” Vahdani continued. “Throughout the global pandemic, our team stood strong, ensuring that our patients received the highest level of care and support. They have exemplified the true spirit of healthcare heroes, consistently putting the needs of others above their own. This award would not be possible without their love and dedication to our community. This award is for them.”
Other local businesses recognized during the ceremony included Sorenity Rocks, The Malibu Lawyer, 4 Malibu Real Estate, Vintage Grocers, Johannessen Homes, John’s Garden, Harwell Brothers, Milestones Ranch, and Salon Jazmeina.
“Our small businesses are the very fabric of Los Angeles,” Supervisor Horvath concluded. “From the Topanga Business Interruption Fund to the services offered by the Department of Economic Opportunity’s Office of Small Business, LA County is here to support you.”
Luxe Homecare remains committed to providing exceptional care and support to our community, upholding the values of compassion, dedication, and excellence that have earned us this esteemed recognition. We are deeply grateful for this honor and for the continued trust and support of our clients and their families.
